This will give you a taste of life at Baker McKenzie. You’ll have the chance to get involved in interactive workshops where you’ll learn more about us and pick up a few new skills along the way. Over the course of the day, you’ll hear from leading lawyers in different practice groups and have plenty of opportunity to broaden your own network of contacts.

We are focused on actively supporting our female colleagues and on this Open Day you will have the opportunity to hear about a few of the initiatives that we have in place including mentoring, networking and collaborating with clients. You will also have the chance to hear from some of our senior female lawyers who will share their stories. Of course, just like at every other Open Day, you can get involved in interactive workshops and practice group overviews. We’ll give you application tips and you’ll network with inspiring people at the Firm.

People from lower socio-economic backgrounds often face barriers which prevent them from entering the legal sector. We’re breaking down those barriers. This Open Day is about giving those from low-income backgrounds the confidence to consider a career with us. Like all our Open Days, it includes interactive workshops and practice group overviews, along with application tips and a chance to network with inspiring people at the Firm.

We don’t just talk about equality; we take steps to make sure people of all ethnic backgrounds are treated and represented fairly. You’ll hear about the journeys of like-minded lawyers and Firm initiatives that aim to increase diversity. Plus, you’ll get stuck in with interactive workshops, practice group overviews and we’ll give you handy application tips. Just like our other Open Days, you’ll be networking with brilliant people in the industry.

Studies have uncovered the disproportionate stress suffered by members of the LGBT+ community within the workplace caused by the feeling of having to hide their identity at work. We want to change that. Hear the stories of LGBTQ+ lawyers at Baker McKenzie and ask any questions you have. The day includes interactive workshops, practice group overviews, application tips and the opportunity to network with Partners, Associates and Trainee Solicitors.

We’re committed to helping those with disabilities overcome the fears they may face when applying for graduate roles. We’ll give you handy application tips, there’ll be a dedicated session on wellbeing, and just like at every other Open Day, you can take part in interactive workshops and practice group overviews. We have partnered with My Plus Consulting to provide an informative and engaging day.
